These terms govern use of the Better Hours website, free Time Recovery Scan, and free Opportunity Review. Paid implementation and managed services are governed by a separate proposal and service agreement. If those documents conflict with these website terms, the signed service agreement controls.
Last updated: July 23, 2026Website content, scan results, examples, guides, checklists, and estimated opportunities are provided for general business information. They are not accounting, tax, legal, employment, privacy, cybersecurity, or other regulated professional advice.
The Time Recovery Scan and Opportunity Review are provided without an audit fee. They are preliminary assessments based on the information supplied and do not create a professional-services relationship, require Better Hours to propose an implementation, or obligate you to purchase anything. Better Hours may recommend simplifying a process, using existing software, postponing work, or taking no further action.
Examples, guides, checklists, scan outputs, and review findings do not guarantee that all identified time, cost, staffing, revenue, or capacity can be recovered. Any proposed implementation is separately scoped using the available workflow information, risk, feasibility, expected return, and responsibilities of both parties.
Unless stated otherwise, prices are in Canadian dollars. Published prices are starting prices and do not constitute a binding quote. Final scope, onboarding fees, subscription fees, third-party costs, commercial terms, and taxes are confirmed in a written proposal or agreement. Quotes are generally valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Clients retain ownership of their business data and directly purchased third-party accounts. Better Hours retains ownership of its software, source code, reusable frameworks, methods, and managed infrastructure unless a signed agreement expressly states otherwise. Access is provided for the duration of the subscription.
The Better Hours name, website design, copy, guides, checklists, resources, methods, and other website materials are owned by or licensed to Better Hours. They may not be copied, republished, sold, or used to create competing materials without written permission, except for reasonable internal evaluation of Better Hours services.
The website may link to or rely on third-party services. Better Hours is not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy practices, or terms. Third-party costs and responsibilities related to client systems are identified separately.
The website may be changed, interrupted, or withdrawn without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Better Hours is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising solely from use of the public website or reliance on its informational content.
These website terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
